Privacy policy
Ctrl– audio player, also called Ctrl music on Samsung TVs.
Updated 6 October 2026.
In short: we don't collect anything about you.
- The app plays music from a storage service that you choose. Your
settings, including the keys to your storage, are kept only on your TV
or in your browser. They are never sent to us.
- The app talks straight to your storage service. Your keys, music and
playlists don't pass through us, and we can't see them. Your storage
service handles them under its own privacy policy.
- You don't need an account with us. The only account you may need is
the one with your storage service.
- There are no ads and no tracking, and we don't gather statistics
about how the app is used.
- If you play the free sample music that comes with the app, it comes
from our storage service. Like any web server, it may briefly note the
internet addresses it serves. We don't use them to find out who you
are or what you listen to.
- Samsung, which delivers the TV app, and GitHub, which hosts the web
app, have their own privacy policies.
- To remove everything the app has saved, delete the app from your TV
or clear the site's data in your browser.
